Born and raised in Valencia - Venezuela

Roberto “otreboRx” Velasco, has been experimenting with music since the age of ten. After almost 20 years in the field, his passion for the art has taking him through many different genres until finally finding is passion in 2004.

 

Back in the mid 90’s with the influence of Rock and Grunge bands such as Nirvana, Metallica, and other Venezuelan groups, he managed to start his first music project. His skills quickly allowed him to dominate the guitar, the keyboard and the bass; luckily for us, his singing abilities were left only for the shower.



In 2004, he began experimenting with different sounds and styles, leading him to incursion into the field of Electronic music; his life would never be the same. His passion allowed him to gain recognition in the local scene, as a regular DJ at clubs, events and parties, his followers, danced to the rhythm of his beats. Artists like Daft Punk, Pendulum, The Chemical Brothers, Deadmau5, Beastie Boys, just to name a few, have had a huge influence in his progressive and innovative style.

 

As an established DJ, he was able to experiment with other business endeavors within the industry; giving him the opportunity to put together a collective of DJs and Street Artists who’s main focused was the further development of the genre within the market. As his network grew, also did the ambition of his projects and in 2010, Machine Records was established giving him the opportunity to start producing his own material; while collaborating with other big names of the national night scene.

 

2011 otreboRx was in tour for SouthAmerica, playing in differents clubs around different countries like Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.

 

2012 otreboRx move to live in Vienna, Austria and has been working hard to position himself in the European market.

 

2013 with the collaboration of some friends, it was created the studio and record label Untertrash, which then follows a project within the electronic line of deephouse, TechHouse, Electro Progressive, Techno, Drum & Bass and Dubstep.
